Vein Solution Centres are solely dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of varicose veins, spider veins and venous ulcers using the latest in non-surgical techniques. This is all we do. We should have called ourselves Just Veins!

Medical Staff  >>

 

All assessments and treatments at Vein Solution Centres are performed by Dr Louis Loizou. Dr Loizou is a Fellow of the Australasian College of Phlebology and is also a Full member of the Australian and New Zealand Society of Phlebology. Dr Loizou is a committee member and the treasurer of the Australasian College of Phlebology. Dr Loizou is actively involved in education and is currently a lecturer and examiner.

  
     

Appointments   >>

To make an appointment for assessment please ring the location nearest you. You will then be sent an envelope that contains four items. This includes-

 (1) Car-parking instructions for your chosen location.

 (2) An outline of the fee structure for the initial consultation. 

 (3) An information brochure, which provides details of the treatments we provide.

 (4) A patient questionnaire, which must completed and brought in with you at the first consultation.  

 
     

First Consultation   >>

What happens at the first consultation- we are aware that in today’s busy lifestyle time is of the essence and as such the first consultation has been structured so that a complete assessment is made then and there. This means, that at the first consultation Dr Loizou will assess your medical history and perform a thorough examination with close attention to your areas of concern. A screening Duplex examination, which uses sound waves to indicate the presence of any underlying venous abnormalities, is performed. If venous abnormalities are found then the exact nature of these are determined with a more detailed duplex examination. Dr Loizou will then explain the findings and the treatment protocol, which will be required to treat your veins. Detailed written information will be discussed which you can take home to read for your better understanding.
